Medieval Combat USA (MCUSA) is a 501(c) Non-Profit governed by Bylaws and Policies adopted by a Board of Directors. In addition, MCUSA inherits and follows the rules and regulations of the sport from it's international parent organization, Buhurt International (BI). GENERAL MEETINGS

 

MCUSA officers and Board of Directors meet once per month. If you would like to submit a topic for discussion, please submit this form to your regional representative.

ADDITIONAL OFFICERS

There are currently six non-voting Additional Officers who attend the MCUSA General Meetings. These positions are: BI Representative, BI Women's Representative, Event Director, Head Marshal, SAFE/Soft Director, and a Marketing Director. Please visit the Additional Officers section to learn more.

Medieval Combat USA (MCUSA) is dedicated to promoting and elevating the sport of armored combat within the United States. We are the official American partner of Buhurt International, the international governing body for historical combat sports.

As part of the largest medieval combat organization in the world, Buhurt International, MCUSA is committed to providing our members with the best training, support, and resources available. We strive to:

Raise the bar by working tirelessly to improve the quality and consistency of events across the country, ensuring a positive and rewarding experience for all participants.

Support American Fighters by our commitment to supporting and empowering armored combat fighters, both domestically and internationally. This includes organizing national selection tournaments to identify the best athletes to represent Team USA at the prestigious Buhurt International World Championships.
