Event Overview
The Serpent watches... The Serpent judges. Step into four days of historical martial arts, competition, and festival atmosphere at Judicium Serpentis 2026! Hosted by the multi-discipline historical combat organization Champions of Swords and sponsored by Medieval Combat USA (MC USA), this massive gathering brings together diverse combat systems for an epic cross-discipline experience.
The heavy steel centerpiece of the festival features an officially sanctioned Buhurt International (BI) Classic-Level Tournament on October 17 and 18. This specific steel track will draw elite armored athletes to compete in high-velocity 5v5 Melees and Duels for both men’s and women’s divisions, with crucial international BI ranking points on the line.
Beyond the steel list, the festival offers four full days of martial arts tournaments, arts and entertainment, shopping, food, and historical pageantry.
