ABOUT THE CITY
VISIT VISEGRAD

Visegrád is a charming town nestled on the Danube bend, renowned for its rich history and stunning castle ruins. Visegrád Castle served as a royal residence for Hungarian Kings and the Summer Palace was built by Matthias Corvinus, one of Hungary's most celebrated rulers.

The castle complex was a center of art, culture, and learning during the Renaissance. The castle ruins offer a glimpse into the grandeur of medieval Hungary. Visitors can explore the remnants of the Royal Palace, fortifications, and the Solomon Tower.
