2026 Election Results: Meet Your New Regional Representatives

The votes have been counted, and the voice of the community has been heard. Following a competitive election cycle featuring a strong slate of dedicated candidates, we are excited to announce the three newest additions to the Medieval Combat USA Board of Directors!


These representatives will join our existing Board to serve a crucial role in connecting local clubs with national leadership, coordinating regional growth, and ensuring the voices of our fighters are heard at the executive level. Their term will run from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026.


Please join us in welcoming your 2026 Regional Representatives:


Western Region: Jenni Young 

Jenni joins the board with nearly two years of experience, describing her time in the sport so far as a "whirlwind." As the Captain of Nomads Armored Combat, she brings an incredible amount of passion and energy to the Western Region. Jenni is eager to continue her growth as a leader while ensuring the West remains a powerhouse of fighter development.

Central Region: Zach Golden

A seasoned veteran with five years in armor, Zach returns as an incumbent Central Regional Representative for 2026. In addition to his role as regional rep, Zach serves as the MC USA Tournament Coordinator. He is a core member of Tulsa Free Company and is well-known for pioneering the "Just Fight Them" method of conflict resolution.

Eastern Region: Marco Damiano

Based out of NYC since 2016, Marco is a veteran of the sport and the current Captain of the NYC Armored Combat club. A former teacher, he brings a wealth of instructional knowledge, organizational experience, and a calm, steady hand to the Eastern Region. Marco’s depth of experience makes him a highly valued addition to the 2026 leadership team.

A former teacher, he brings a wealth of instructional knowledge, organizational experience, and a calm, steady hand to the Eastern Region. Marco’s depth of experience makes him a highly valued addition to the 2026 leadership team.

A Thank You to All Candidates

We also want to extend a sincere thank you to Bart Lopez, Ian Webb, Kyler Christian, Nick Johnson, Adam Harrigan, and Brandon Sauder for stepping up to run. A volunteer league is only as strong as the people willing to put in the work, and their dedication to MC USA is deeply appreciated. We look forward to their continued contributions to our sport as it continues to grow.
