In response to recent concerns raised within our community, MC USA is taking proactive steps to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants at our events.
We understand that while we cannot control everything that happens outside of our events, we believe it is important to create a safe environment within our controlled spaces. To that end, we have implemented a new policy requiring all MC USA-approved tournaments to designate a Safety Advocate.
The Safety Advocate will be a readily available individual who can provide a quiet and secure space for participants who may feel threatened or uncomfortable. The designated space will be private and accessible only to the individual requesting it. The Safety Advocate will offer necessary support, such as food, water, or the presence of a specific person, without inquiring about the reasons for seeking a safe space.
This policy applies only to events organized by MC USA. Incidents occurring outside of our events or during non-event activities should be reported to local authorities. MC USA's Code of Conduct will be applicable in such cases.
As always, our most up-to-date policies can be found on the Policies page.
We will continue to evaluate and refine our safety measures to ensure that our events remain a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
